House Manager - Female applicants only who is responsible for managing faith based transitional housing program during the weekends, Friday afternoon through Monday am. You will help guide women, and children by equipping families in a secure and nurturing environment to learn daily living skills, assisting with program compliance and goals. - Willing to acknowledge, adhere, and promote Agape’s Embrace core values.
- Proven leadership skills, preferably a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role for the full time position.
- Experience working in a nonprofit environment, transitional housing or residential housing sector experience a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with a marginalized population which would include homeless, addicted, or prison reentry.
- Able to prioritize, work efficiently and able to apply critical thinking skills.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage a caseload of three family residents.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and accountability. You’re their biggest cheerleader!
- Share the ministry's Christian Core values with residents and volunteers.
- Conduct weekly one on one meeting with moms for goal setting and case management.
- Ensure residents adhere to Agape’s Embrace policies.
- Assist residents with financial stability, career development, and personal and spiritual growth.
- Assist Executive Director with administrative needs on a daily basis.
- Conducts volunteer recruiting and training.
- Facilitates and plans Bible studies and daily devotions.
- Oversees staff and coordinates training.
