Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record of success in selling to electrical wholesale distributors to join our team.
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing clients. This role involves traveling to meet clients, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that meet those needs. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, results-driven individual with a proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with electrical distributors to promote and sell our products.
- Travel 4-5 days per week within the territory
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the electrical distribution industry.
- Familiarity with selling lighting product
- Listen to customer needs and present best Elco product solution
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to present products and services
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve individual and team sales goals
- Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Help customers with product technical questions
- Set calls to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proven experience in Outside Sales, specifically selling to electrical distributors is required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Knowledge of the electrical distribution industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Pay Range: Average range is from 5,000-10,000/month (Draw + Commission)
