Product Engineer

Job Summary:

The Product Engineer will play a key role in the development and improvement of lighting products. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including testing agencies and the assembly team, to ensure products meet quality standards and are optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance lighting products to meet market demands and customer needs.
• Coordinate with testing agencies to ensure products undergo necessary testing and certification processes.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of product samples to verify performance and quality.
• Collaborate with the assembly team to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze market and industry product trends.
• Evaluate market research and regulations to develop new product concepts
• Oversee production and ensure that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations.
• Adjust the product design as needed to make it safer, or more durable and effective.
• Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the lighting industry.
• Strong understanding of lighting product applications, installations, and industry standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience working with LED lighting technology.
• In-depth knowledge of CAD, AutoCAD, and Solidworks software.
• Proficient in product testing and evaluation methodologies.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
