Overview:

LBA Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Radio Frequency (RF) Applications to join our engineering team in Greenville, NC. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role requires strong project management skills and technical expertise in RF and electromagnetic energy, particularly in RF shielding and interference. With a particular focus on applications in transmission lines, industrial, military, broadcast, communications, Wi-Fi, and multi-frequency applications. You will contribute to the design, development, and testing of RF systems, driving innovation in the field. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and innovate RF systems: Develop and optimize aforementioned RF products, services, and solutions. 
• Project management: Oversee engineering projects, managing timelines, personnel, resources, and budgets effectively. 
• Technical development: Lead the manufacturing and testing of new components while continuously improving existing systems. 
• Team collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve unique and complex engineering challenges. 
• Travel: Domestic and foreign travel may be required for certain projects. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 
• Experience in RF communications, project management, AutoCAD, and RF-specific areas such as shielding and transmission line interference. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). 
• Ability to obtain a security clearance; US citizenship required. 
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to think clearly under pressure and handle multiple tasks flexibly. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with broadcast and wireless transmission systems. 
• Knowledge of interference mitigation, RF safety, and lightning protection.
