Job Scope:
The Logistics and Procurement Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing the logistics operations. General duties include coordinating logistics activities, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and guide all purchasing and inbound/outbound logistics aspects, including purchase order creation, sales order review, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
- Engage in vendor negotiations and supply chain analysis to increase production efficiency and profit margin, and mitigate risk.
- Oversee shipping activities, including customs documentation, freight forwarding coordination, tracking of shipments, and resolving any possible logistics issues.
- Analyze data related to procurement activities, such as supplier performance, costs, and quality metrics.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and production team efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records for all orders, including production documentation and entries.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal procurement control policies and procedures to support our growth strategy and assist in streamlining processes, procedures, and reporting metrics.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, retrieving and distributing mail and parcels, filing, scanning, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or a related field
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively interact with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.

- Ability to check the quality of products.
- Ability to lift weights to 50 lbs.
