Job Scope: 

The Entry-level Electrical Engineer is responsible for producing specifications and designs and developing and testing new components. You must demonstrate the ability to be a technically minded innovator and problem solver with strong numerical and scientific capabilities. The ability to focus on the task, think under pressure, and be adaptable are critical to this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Exercise creative thinking to devise new systems/products and continuously improve existing products and solutions. 
• Understand complex mathematical analysis to design and troubleshoot.
• Understand mechanical and electrical concepts and processes quickly.
• Use standard equipment and tools necessary for the role. 
• Work well with a team to develop system and product solutions for an incredibly unique array of problems.  
• Manage time, supplies, and budget. 
• Some domestic and foreign travel may be needed.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering from an accredited institution. 
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). 
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• A satisfactory background check and security clearance eligibility are required.  
• Listening and communication skills: must be able to communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale to teammates.
• Problem-solving skills, especially the ability to identify the source of a problem and create and test solutions.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours/day.
• Ability to work seated at a computer.
• Ability to check the quality of products.
• Ability to lift weights to 40 lbs.
