Job Scope:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for working with blueprints or instructions to put together various parts. General duties include measuring and making accurate cuts to parts, ensuring all parts are assembled, and inspecting and testing the equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that company standards, specifications, quality control procedures, safety regulations, and other applicable laws/rules produce all product lines.
- Perform all aspects of the assembly process.
- Ensure proper documentation for each job performed.
- Maintain an efficient, safe, and orderly working environment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working on various materials, including sheet metal, plastic, glass, and wood.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools required.
- Experience with machine tool is preferred but not required.
- Experience working at the plant level is preferred but not required for this position.
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours/day.
- Ability to work seated at a computer.
- Ability to check the quality of products.
- Ability to lift weights to 50 lbs.
