Your New Role as Our Accounting Manager

You will work from 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various accounting activities. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheet reconciliations. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will ensure the accuracy and completeness of these financial reports. The role requires you to plan, organize, and coordinate all activities of the general accounting function within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that financial results are recorded and reported accurately and in a timely manner for the Business Unit. You will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of various general ledger accounts, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchases, and profit and loss activity. Your expertise in ADP and accounting software, such as SAGE or Quickbooks, will be utilized to streamline these processes and ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance - CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with other financial systems.
  • Quantitative financial analysis experience.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, implementing and supervising the company’s financial strategy.
  • Managing the company’s financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets.
  • Handling the company’s transactions and debts and doing cash flow forecasting.
  • Performing the company’s financial audits.
  • Following proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial accounting data.
  • Creating financial reports based on data analysis.
  • Making recommendations to management.
