Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional to join our HVAC/Plumbing company. As the Accounts Receivable clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming payments and outstanding invoices. Responsibilities

• Process and record incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and send out invoices to clients, ensuring all relevant information is included.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, liaise with clients, and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts receivable records and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Collaborate with the finance team to produce regular financial reports and analyses.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar role.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
• HVAC/Plumbing industry knowledge is preferred, but not required.
