What will I be doing in this role?
As a Part-time Virtual Solar Consultant, you will be tasked with generating qualified Residential Solar appointments every week from the comfort of your own home. With the rates for traditional power skyrocketing, you will have the opportunity to not only contribute to a cleaner environment, but provide financial assurance that comes with a lower, fixed monthly power bill to your clientele. Your client pool is only limited to your ability to innovate and network, and could consist of local businesses, BNI's, neighbors, personal contacts, and referrals.
We will provide weekly comprehensive online training and ongoing sales support to ensure that you have the knowledge, tools, and skills necessary to succeed in accomplishing your goals and quotas. You will also receive an aggressive, industry-leading compensation package, allowing you to earn between $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
Who is the ideal candidate for this role?
We are looking for someone who can:
Creatively prospect for qualified homeowners and regularly set appointments with them for our solar experts
Attend regular online team meetings
Educate homeowners in a virtual or hybrid setting about the benefits of solar energy
Provide excellent, consistent customer service and follow-up with potential clients
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly performance targets
What are the requirements for this role?
Sales Experience PREFERRED but not REQUIRED
Flexible part-time Availability (choose your own hours between 10-40 hours weekly)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual is a plus!)
If the applicant has no previous experience: must complete applicable Solar Sales Training as an Appointment Setter.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Working phone, laptop/tablet, and a basic understanding of Zoom/Google Meet videoconferencing
